Your next local side quest

Optional GPS is rounded before server-side OpenStreetMap geocoding, weather-provider and Foursquare Places lookups. Nearby Foursquare listings are reused for up to one minute within a coarse map cell; your requested radius is rechecked against the original source pins. No background venue searches run. The default horizon is 2.5 km. Up to 15 source listings are considered, subject to coverage and your filters. Shuffles exclude already shown venue IDs and names and rotate activity families until you explicitly restart the run. The geocoder neighborhood, city and country context, nearby public venue names, addresses, categories, photo URLs, hour and atmosphere reach OpenAI; your GPS and recent-title history do not. Eligible enterprise partners may be prioritized and are labelled. Native names and addresses pass through unchanged. Map links search the exact native venue name and source address. Foursquare listings are source records, not a live inspection: check hours, access, equipment and availability before travelling. Late-night All activities prioritises food, bars and games. Photos are shown only when supplied; category artwork is a placeholder. If venue lookup fails, no business, address or pass is invented. Arrival windows are personal suggestions, not confirmed shared attendance. The live pass watches precise GPS locally. Checking in sends one fresh fix to our arrival service, which verifies distance and saves the venue, internal profile ID, arrival time and accuracy. No coordinate trail is saved. One arrival per venue per internal profile is counted within 24 hours. An agreed partner arrival fee may apply to the venue; the visitor is not charged.

Radar counts open tabs, not unique people; small counts are hidden. No coordinates or names enter presence records. An anonymous device session may be saved locally, with an internal pseudonymous record in Supabase. No public identity is shown in neighborhood radar. Presence expires after 35 seconds without a visible heartbeat. Pulse events expire after 30 seconds. A timezone fallback is a suggested city, not detected location. Weather displays provider conditions or an explicitly labelled MET Norway hourly forecast. Coarse shared forecast cells are cached until the provider’s expiry; exact GPS and visitor-specific weather history are not saved. If weather is unavailable, no cinematic mood is presented as weather. Normal network logs and short-lived abuse limits still apply.

Venue photo sharing is separate and optional. A photo appears only after explicit consent and a fresh GPS check within 30 meters. The photo is resized on your device and stored privately. A secure venue-session cookie connects your photo and outing feedback. Visible-tab GPS checks renew photo sharing every 15 seconds; sharing fades within 45 seconds without renewal. Hiding the page, leaving GPS range, removing the photo or finishing requests immediate removal. Expired photos are inaccessible and cleared on later venue requests. No coordinate trail, name or public profile is stored. Nearby hellos are short-lived visual signals between opted-in participants, never direct messages. Outing feedback records the venue and whether the moment felt worth it.
